Its aim is to increase agricultural productivity in 100 such districts where productivity is low, crop intensity is medium, and agricultural credit status is below average.
Under this scheme, better facilities will be provided to farmers through existing schemes and special measures. This includes crop diversification, adopting sustainable agricultural practices, improving post-harvest storage facilities at panchayat and block levels, improving irrigation facilities, and providing short-term and long-term loans. About 1.7 crore farmers are expected to benefit from this scheme
Comprehensive program for vegetables and fruits
